Our Values

High Thyme FARMacy's recipes are designed in-house using knowledge from research and ingredients from nature. We use nutrient-rich, skin-nourishing oils, natural fats, pure essential oils, and high-quality, skin-safe fragrance oils in our handmade items - no perfumes, no detergents, no synthetic preservatives, and no harmful dyes. 

Our love for using fresh herbs inspired us to make our products unique by adding herbs/herb-infused oils, seeds, grains, spices, flowers/flower-infused oils, and purifying natural clays to provide color, texture, gentle exfoliation, and aroma-therapeutic benefits. 

Herbs have incredible properties that can be used for a multitude of purposes, and a low amount of toxicity, which makes them ideal for use in maintaining the health of our skin. Herbs can keep our skin balanced, clear, and nourished, which leaves us looking radiant, luminous, and healthy. Plus, we reap the benefits from the herb’s medicinal properties. Herbs contain natural antioxidants, vitamins, and emollients that make their way to your skin from underneath, and from the outside. 

We try to be as kind to the earth and its creatures as we are to our skin. 

Our ingredients are free from harmful chemicals and do not negatively impact the water systems. Commercial “soaps” and skincare products often contain chemicals that end up in our water systems and accumulate in our ecosystems, affecting our wildlife. 

Our products are vegetarian. Most of our products are vegan, and all our products are vegetarian. None of our products include animal fat. We use the finest quality ingredients from nature to ensure your skin gets everything it needs with minimal help from animal-derived ingredients. 

Our products are cruelty-free. We are 100% cruelty free, and do not purchase products or ingredients from vendors who participate in animal testing. Since our products are chemical-free and do not contain pesticides, testing them on animals is unnecessary. 

Our products are made with sustainably sourced ingredients and are mostly palm-free. We use raw materials that are sourced in an environmentally and ethically responsible manner because ecological sustainability and biodiversity are important to us. 

Our products are biodegradable and minimally packaged with recycled and recyclable materials. We ask that our customers re-use, re-purpose, and/or recycle packaging materials, as well.

Using our products will not only leave your skin looking healthy and feeling nourished - using our products will also help make our planet a little healthier.

We live in a world where many things are mass produced, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s also wonderful that more people everywhere are beginning to embrace things that are made by hand in small quantities. 

We handcraft our products the "old fashion" way. It takes some time and costs a little more, but each batch is made from scratch with specially chosen ingredients to soothe, moisturize, and condition the skin. Chuck Klosterman said, “Art and love are the same thing: It’s the process of seeing yourself in things that are not you.” When we create our products, we take pride in our work - that’s because we leave a part of ourselves in it. The intrinsic value of our handmade products is that they reflect us. When you buy something we’ve created, you yourself are reflected in that purchase.

All our products are handmade in small, frequent batches to deliver potency and ensure maximum freshness. Combining the finest ingredients available with our meticulous manufacturing process results in rich, creamy, moisturizing personal care products that leave your skin feeling clean, soft, and radiantly healthy!
